The Encounter: Italia
The Encounter: Italia was created in partnership with Jacob's Pillow in collaboration with American Dance Abroad as part of WomanMade, a project of the Italian Ministry of Culture.

The Encounter: Italia (2022) was created for 5 female-identifying dancers working in various companies throughout Italy who came together as part of the international WomanMade project. The work was created at Art Garage in Puzzuoli under the direction of Emma Cianchi and Art Gallery in Perugia under the direction of Valentina Romito. The Encounter: Italia premiered in summer 2022 in Rome and toured throughout Italy.
